Multionantional company is seeking to recruit a secretary for the Sales Department in Athens

Job Purpose:

Enhances sales department effectiveness by providing secretarial services; maintaining sales promotion materials; planning sales meetings; helping customers.


Duties:

* Produces sales information by transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying and transmitting sales text, data, and graphics.

* Maintains sales promotion materials by monitoring supplies, anticipating needs, suggesting updates in materials; sending orders to printers; monitoring delivery due dates.

* Prepares monthly sales reports by consolidating regional reports into corporate summary format.

* Maintains broker/customer communication by updating customer mailing lists and phone/fax/e-mail lists.

* Distributes sales information by receiving, sorting, and routing mail to corporate and regional sales groups.

* Plans sales meetings by determining convenient locations within the region; verifying dates with key executives; making travel, lodging, and meeting facility arrangements; developing agendas.

* Enhances customer relations by producing and distributing quarterly newsletters; answering questions not resolved by field sales staff; referring inquiries to appropriate resource.

* Provides historical reference by developing and utilizing filing and retrieval systems; recording meeting discussions and commitments.

* Improves sales quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes; recommending changes.

* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; participating in professional organizations.

* Accomplishes sales and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
